minutes to all recess

Behavioral Plan:
If off task, a verbal or signal reminder will be given. If
they still cannot re-gain control, they will receive an Oh No mark thus simply
showing they are still off task no more than five marks will be given out in a
day. If they still do not have control, they will be sent to the Take a Break
Chair. This allows the child to walk away from the classroom environment and
have a little breathing room for a few minutes. Once in the chair, he/she will
reflect on what was happening to cause them to end up there, and what they can
do next time to ensure it not happen again. Next, we have parent contact. A
final step to our behavior system is a trip to the principal’s office.
